2 NIGHTS IN APOLLO BAY: Either before the weekend in Melbourne of afterwards, enjoy Victoria's highlight, the beautiful drive to the 12 Apostles down the Great Ocean Road. Start cruising along Victorias favorite recreational area, the Mornington Peninsula and marvel at the colorful beach boxes along the Bay. Visit the Maze at Arthur Seat, play a game of golf in Rye or/ and take a local hot Spa at the Peninsula Hot Springs. Then relax 40 min on the Ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff and get ready for the spectacular drive down the Great Ocean Road. First, soak in the spirit of the surfers paradise Torquay (visit the Surf Museum) and have a dip into the sea at the famous Bells Beach. After riding a wave, try a horse at Aireys Inlet.
Then that moment has arrived: It's time to open the roof of your convertible Lamborghini and begin one of the worlds most scenic drives down the famous Great Ocean Road. Grab a cappucino in Lorne and after many scenic stops (don't forget to look out for Koalas) arrive at the breathtaking beauty of Apollo Bay's beach and ranges.
Check into your standalone Villa at the RAYVILLE BOAT HOUSES  (www.rayville.com.au) and decide on the many things to do. Fishing rods, canoes, bicycles, golf equipment, etc. are freely available at Rayville. Experience the beauty of the beach which is competing with the uniqueness and colors (especially in winter) of the Rain Forest. Don't miss the Glow Worm spectacle at dusk. For the next day(s) the hardest task is to prioritize between the many things to do: 12 Apostles, Waterfalls, the Otway Fly Treetop Walk, Lighthouse, Rainforest, extraordinary Gum Tree drives, Koalas, the Seal Colony (if you are lucky you'll get a Whale there too), The Great Ocean Walk (or a selected piece of its 90km's) and so much more, including about all types of sports you can think of. Finally relax in some of the really nice restaurants and cafe's of Apollo Bay.
